Bus Wrap   Ogilvy& Mather, New York

This project had a deadline of 18 days and was to appear 9 separate markets. Each market (city) had different bus wheel and window configurations as well as police safety considerations.

Generic bus templates were provided by the client and used to adjust the design to fit each different bus model.. By pre-separating the main elements into layers, individual adjustments could be made at the printer to accommodate wheel and window placements. Daily progress sketches and comps were posted on the Internet at a private site for the client and agents of each market to approve insuring the completion of the project on time. The finish was rendered at 25 dpi at half scale (40 ft bus) and produced a 35 meg file.

A series of thumbnails were roughed out in pencil for a general look and then selectively worked up in color for direction.

The Art Director chose the last sketch to be worked up for several final comps.
